Marriott International to open 40 luxury hotels in 2018

Mexico, Dec. 15 (Notimex).- Marriott International announced the opening of 40 luxury hotels in 2018, with a portfolio of eight different brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, St. Regis, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, Edition and JW Marriott. In a statement, it explained that with a network of hotels and resorts in 60 countries, the hotel chain will further expand its presence in the world of luxury, with 200 hotels under development, including 25 new countries, from Iceland and Nepal to Cuba and Philippines "From old palaces in Venice and Vienna to skyscrapers in Hong Kong and Dubai, or escapes in the Maldives and Mexico, the breadth of our portfolio allows us to exceed the expectations of our guests around the world", said the global director of Marriott International brand, Tina Edmundson.
