Pemex and Dea Dutsche award second round in Round 2 bidding

Mexico, Jun. 19 (Notimex) .- The DEA Dutsche consortium, along with Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex, for its acronym in Spanish) Exploration and Production, were awarded the Tampico-Misantla Contractual Area number two during the first Round 2 bidding. It should be noted that this area has an extension of ​​549 square kilometers, where the main hydrocarbon is light oil and dry gas, in a water depth of 20 to 250 meters in shallow water. The State's share of the operating profit is at least 20.10 per cent, and at most 75 per cent. In the framework of the First Round 2 Bid, the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH, for its acronym in Spanish) will hold, on Monday, the reception, opening and evaluation the envelopes with the economic proposals of the bidders. This, to participate for the 15 contractual areas in shallow waters located in the Gulf of Mexico. Likewise, the Bid Committee of the CNH reports that in the case of Contract Area One and Three were declared deserted.
